Twelve volunteers from Ford Credit, gave up one of their community days to help at the Papworth Trust Basildon site on Thursday 13 July.
Tasks for the day included:
- Decorating one of the disabled toilets
- Repair and paint the rear and side external window frames
- Reduce the height of two raised beds so they are more accessible for our customers
- Make in door in the poly-greenhouse
Paul Sands the Volunteer Coordinator from the Papworth Trust said:
“The volunteers from Ford Credit were lovely and worked extremely hard. They made a massive difference. Thank you so much – you have improved the facilities for our disabled customers. Thanks also Basildon CVS for making the connection”.
