Community Connection Magazine

Community Connection is our community-focussed magazine full of local news, events, volunteering opportunities, jobs and training, and puzzles. It began in 2020 as an activity booklet for members of the community isolating due to the coronavirus, but is now so much more.

Our Community Connection magazine is released a few times a year. You can pick it up from venues across the borough in community hubs such as libraries, community centres, food banks, Orleto and Maggio Lounges, South Essex College, Towngate Theatre and we try to deliver it to every charity shop in the borough. We also have copies at the Happy Hub in Basildon Eastgate where we hold our weekly Community Exchange Drop-in sessions (Wednesdays from 10am-1pm). You can also pick up at copy at one of the many local event throughout the year, where we always try to have a presence.
