Autumn is here and there are so many exciting spooky activities happening across Essex! Here are just a few which could keep you and your loved ones entertained this month:
Visit Langdon Nature Reserve for some halloween themed family fun in the beautiful woodland landscape! This session is open to families with children aged 3 and up and all children must be accompanied by an adult. You will be able to create a woodland wand, search for spooky spell ingredients and look for the weird and wonderful wildlife in our local green spaces. This event is held outside, so please wear suitable outdoor clothing!
On the 15th-16th October and the 22nd-30th October, Marsh Farm are hosting their spooktacular halloween festival! On top of the usual fun farm antics, Marsh Farm will be full of spooky walkaround characters, a pumpkin patch, a trick or treat trail and a witches wiggle disco. Remember to book your tickets in advance to save money.
Barleylands Farm are planning two exciting halloween events this October half term. Between Saturday 22nd October and Sunday 30th October, they are holding their annual halloween fest. The event will be full of fun activities including singing, dancing, story times and pumpkin decorating as well as a family friendly spooky walk and ghostly trail. On the 27th-29th October, they will also be hosting their Spooky Night events with a skittleman disco, toddler fairground, spooky walks and trick or treating for all the family.
Old Mcondald’s Farm’s halloween festival is taking place between 22nd-30th october and you can get a discount by buying your tickets online. There will be a haunted house, a magic school, spooky story telling, a pumpkin patch and free halloween tattoos! On top of that, you will be able to see creepy crawlies and ride the exciting family-friendly roller coaster.
