Do you want to be part of something amazing - We are looking for volunteers to help Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT) by assisting in our brand new charity shop in the heart of Basildon.
The role will support the Shop Manager and Assistant Shop Manager to ensure the smooth running of the shop.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with the donations of stock, by sorting, steaming and preparing for the shop floor.
Maintaining good stock levels and helping with stock rotation.
Manning the till, including taking card payments and Gift Aid sign-up.
Greeting customers in a friendly and approachable manner.
Helping with visual merchandising when needed.
What skills do I need?
You will
have a genuine interest in supporting charity work and in particular to
supporting the life-saving work of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance.
An
understanding of the charity and what we do or the ability to learn quickly
about our work.
Warm, friendly and have an enthusiastic and welcoming manner.
