We are looking for friendly faces to help us
open our new restaurant. Serving a full range of delicious meals, snacks, hot
& cold beverages and afternoon tea, this state of the art space will help
us raise vital funds for wildlife.
If you are a helpful and positive person who enjoys working with the public, you could be exactly who we are looking for. Volunteers usually commit to one half-day or full-day per week, and tasks could include serving visitors, clearing tables, preparing food & drinks and using the till. We also offer the option of speciality coffee training to become a fully-fledged Barista!
In return we provide a logo-branded uniform, two free nature courses per year, travel expenses and exclusive volunteer thank you events. It is an opportunity to become part of our thriving community of committed volunteers and an integral part of the Langdon team.
What skills do I need?
An interest in wildlife would be fantastic, but
no special knowledge is required.
Experience in a customer-facing environment is ideal but not essential, as training is provided.
Our catering roles require a good level of physical fitness as you will be working on your feet and may carry crockery. Please let us know if you have any accessibility requirements so that additional arrangements can be made.
