Calling Volunteers!

Gardening and/or Meeter and Greeter - is this you?

A team of volunteers are needed to help vitalise a space, and help care for the garden, allotment and produce. Training and support will be provided by CVST.

The Kennedy Way Community Garden has been regenerated by the NHS Estates Team, working in collaboration with CVS Tendring to help local residents with their Physical and Mental wellbeing. To be out in the fresh air, making new friends, learning and sharing new skills and to be part of the community.

The Community space will have, once works are completed, a Community Garden, Allotment, a Men's Shed, Outdoor Gym, seating area and a meeting place for Walking Groups.

As part of making our space inclusive, we aim to be welcoming to anyone who would benefit from the physical, emotional and social benefits of our allotment.

The allotment has been designed to be able to provide herbs and flowers as well as vegetables to try to encourage interest from all gardeners and to create a space that has colour and fragrance to aid relaxation. As a volunteer, you are welcome to take home and share any produce grown.

Interested? Register your interest on or call CVST on 01255 425692 and ask for Debbie or Nicky
