This opportunity is to run or assist with the cycling groups, or group, within the local areas - Clacton/Holland, Jaywick, Harwich and Walton or potentially where the volunteer is based. As a volunteer for this opportunity, you will need to do the Cycling Leadership course and be a competent rider on, and off roads. You will need to be able to commit to up to 90 minutes per week, times: dates/times are flexible. It will involve helping to plan suitable routes along with the other leader, you may be asked do a pre-ride to check for hazards etc. You will need to commit a couple of hours on the day of the ride ( Days TBC). Duties may include taking the register etc. You will lead the group (along with the another Cycle Group Leader) using the skills learnt during the course. The Cycling Leadership course and the required DBS check will be free of charge.
