A volunteer, plus supporters are required to
help run a drop-in centre in the Reading Rooms on the High Street to attract young
people, initially in the afternoon and early evening. The RR has a good
convenient space with the right ambience to attract pupils, say younger teens,
to use for meeting and greeting as well as doing homework, lubricated by coffee
and soft drinks. You will receive appropriate training to run and supervise the
facility with support.
What skills do I need?
An interest and personality suitable for working
with young people. Suitable training will be provided.
