The Active Wellbeing Society is a community benefit society and cooperative working to build healthy, happy communities living active and connected lives. We deliver a wide range of free activities aimed at improving wellbeing at an individual and community level

Essex Pedal Power was established to give out free bikes to priority wards of Jaywick Sands and Clacton, to increase physical activity, improve mental health and increase job and training opportunities

Volunteering with the Essex Pedal Power Team you will be supporting the Team at events held to promote the scheme by assisting with 'meet and greets', registering people to apply for a free bike, the safe hand over of bikes to the beneficiaries, engaging with the local community and assisting wherever required

What skills do I need?

An interest and passion for cycling. All training will be provided
