The Essex Shed Network and Maldon & District Community Voluntary Service are working with ECL, at Chapter House, Maldon to rejuvenate their garden area.
After initially clearing the site, we intend to build a sensory area, an allotment, plant colourful borders and provide a wildlife/meadow area.
The garden can then be used by ECL's clients and especially those that use the Older Persons' Day Centre. ECL hope that the garden will become a Community garden, with those that like to garden, or even those that would like to learn or just potter around, can come and meet and help to shape and maintain the garden.
The first session takes place on Wednesday 16th June at 10am. Going forward we plan to meet every Wednesday from 10 am to 4 pm and volunteers can drop in at any time between these times.
can be provided but if you have your own favourite gloves, trowel or secateurs
then please feel free to bring them along.
