Leaders and assistants for all sections are needed age 18 to 65 years
Beavers - 6 to 8 years - meet Mondays
Cubs 8 to 10.5/11 years - meet on Wednesdays and Thursdays
Scouts 10.5 to 14 years meet on Friday
If you are under 18 you can still Volunteer but need to join the monthly Youth Leaders course
Explorers 14 to 18 - meet Tuesday
Meetings start at:
Beavers - Monday 5.15pm to 6.30pm
Cubs - Wednesdays 6.00pm to 8.15pm
Cubs - Thursday 6.30pm to 8.15pm
Scouts - Friday 7.00pm to 9.00pm
Explorers - Tuesday 7.30pm to 9.30pm
Volunteers work with other leaders, helping with activities, training etc.
Leaders attend weekly with occasional weekends, assistants can be more flexible about times.
What skills do I need?
Volunteers should have an interest in and enjoy working with young people and outdoor activities but no special skills required.
We welcome female assistants.
Full training is given.
