We are always looking for friendly and enthusiastic people to support our learning programme for schools and families. Working closely with our Education Officer you will gain hands-on experience of working with our younger visitors and supporting the development of learning resources. If you are over 18, enthusiastic and friendly, enjoy working with children and are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays, we would love to hear from you.
Typical duties will include:
Schools programme (Term Time):
Supporting the delivery of pre-planned educational activities
Setting up and packing down for school visits
Families programme (School Holidays):
Welcoming families to the museum and explaining the activity
Supporting activity delivery
Helping set up and take down materials
What skills do I need?
Interest in working with children and young people.
Ability to communicate with children of different ages and
abilities..
