CVS Tendring organise many activities and events such as Black History Month, South Asian Heritage Month, Victorian Christmas Market, Health and Wellbeing Events and Multicultural Fesitivities such as Diwali.
This role involves:
- Setting up room with relevant leaflets;
- Setting up chairs, tables, cloths and ensuring ease of access
- Sanitise areas after each use and after the event finishes to adhere to covid guidelines
You can either:
Refreshments:
- serving available refreshments such as tea, coffee, soft drinks to attendees
- keeping to covid and food safety guidelines
Meet and Greet:
- meet and greet people as they come in
- promote other services
- introduce new people to other members
- keep an eye on head count as to not exceed covid capacity guidelines
What skills do I need?
Able to move furniture such as tables and chairs
Refreshments:
- assist with tea/coffee making
- was and dry crockery after use OR load and start dishwasher available
- tidy kitchen area
Meet and Greet:
- Friendly and approachable
- Good communication skills
