City of Chelmsford Mencap is urgently seeking volunteers to assist at its virtual evening social club, Gateway Online. Members of the club are adults with a learning disability aged between 19 and 70. Our evening clubs went online at the beginning of the pandemic and deliver a range of fun evening activities, including film, talent and games nights, quizzes and dance workshops.
As an online volunteer, you will assist staff with the delivery of activities, and monitor and support members’ participation. Gateway Online runs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and are approximately 1.5 hours in duration.
City of Chelmsford Mencap’s staff and volunteers are committed to helping everyone with a learning disability socialise and feel part of our community; we would love you to be part of our team!
