Volunteers will help provide safe creative play opportunities for the children. They will assist with the day-to-day running of the establishment, which could include administration and record keeping duties.
Volunteer will help to set out at the start of the day and clear away equipment at the end of the day.
We will offer appropriate training for the volunteer to be able to perform the role required of them. We may also ask the volunteer to attend meetings if required of them.
We would hope that the volunteer would undertake duties as may become necessary to ensure the successful running of the scheme. This may include providing care for the children, refreshments and going on local day trips.
What skills do I need?
Volunteers will be given opportunities to undertake relevant training and to gain experience of working as part of a friendly team.
Volunteers need to be enthusiastic and enjoy working with children to provide a warm, stimulating and fun environment for the children.
Child care related skills would be preferred but not essential as such can be gained during the opportunity working.

Availability Details
Volunteers are required for Thurrock School Holiday dates. These cover half-terms, Easter, Christmas and Summer periods. The role is available with flexibility in commitment between the hours of 8am and 4pm each holiday cover period. Times and days to be agreed with the volunteer and manager.
