Marie Curie Speakers play a vital role in spreading the word about the work of our charity in local communities across the UK. Your impact as a Speaker will be helping to raise awareness of our services among people who might not know who we are, inspiring them to get involved and support us.
Most of us have experienced first-hand how hearing directly from someone about something
they care deeply about has a powerful and lasting impact.
As a Marie Curie Speaker, you're helping to build a picture in peoples' minds of how our
charity improves lives: on a personal level, locally and nationally. You will support your local
Community Fundraiser to reach people who they might not be able to visit in person as
often as they'd like to
What skills do I need?
This position is good for someone who likes to meet other people, is keen to find out
about what goes on in their area and approach new membership groups for talks, be confident
and have a general enjoyment in public speaking, passion for the charity, be helpful and enthusiastic
