Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome, are proud to have received the Queen’s Award for Volunteering and now offers you the chance to join their award winning team. They continue to develop the site into one of the premier visitor attractions in Essex and their volunteers are playing a vital part in making this happen..
The aerodrome are looking for people who can greet visitors, give information and provide a friendly welcome to the site.
These volunteers will
be trained in customer service and use of the very simple electronic till. Volunteers will then build up a good knowledge of prices for admissions, membership
schemes and the product ranges in the shop.
What skills do I need?
Good organisational and people skills.
Stow Maries holds regular recruitment sessions which include backstage tours of the site.
Training is provided for all roles and most volunteering hours are flexible.

Availability Details
The Site is generally open from 10 am-4 pm throughout the year although the days vary depending on the season. Volunteers can opt for regular or flexible hours.
