As a small organisation with big plans we find that our existing board provides practical help beyond the formal governance duties and we would ideally like our new Trustee to be able to do the same where possible.
The board holds formal two-hour quarterly board meetings and receives regular updates from the CEO. In addition, some or all of the board hold ad hoc discussions on the phone, via Zoom and via digital tools regarding key decisions, advice and opportunities throughout the year. We have also incorporated an annual strategic planning day.
We anticipate that quarterly board meetings will
alternate between Zoom and in-person meetings in London for the foreseeable
What skills do I need?
We’re looking for help with our Fundraising
Strategy. We would particularly welcome interest from people with expertise in
Trust & Grant and High-Level Donors. We hope the new trustee would be able
to provide strategic advice and practical assistance in making connections,
sourcing partnerships opportunities etc.
