Triage volunteer

You will be the first point of contact for Citizens Advice clients.

You will:

  • take the client's details
  • establish the nature of their problem explain the advice triage process give an estimated call back time complete and on-line form
  • This can be over the telephone or face to face

What skills do I need?

No qualifications necessary. If you want to help people know their rights and you don't judge people with different lifestyles to you we will train you.

Availability Details

Weekly bases. A minimum of half a day each week. Usually 10 - 1.30 or 1-4.30pm but we have some flexibility on that. You can be home based or volunteer from one of our offices in Tendring: Clacton, Brightlingsea, Harwich, Dovercourt, Walton, Frinton, Jaywick.
