We are looking for van drivers to join our dedicated team. Our volunteer van drivers play a vital role within the charity, delivering items of furniture purchased by our customers to their homes and collecting furniture from our donors.
As van driver you are the face of the charity while out on the van. The post involves going out on the van with two van crew delivering to customers' homes in the morning and collecting from donors homes in the afternoon. You would be required to do a small amount of paperwork, work as a team with the van crew and have excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of the roads in Cambridge and surrounding areas would be beneficial. As a driver it is not necessary for you to do heavy lifting.
What skills do I need?
This post would suit someone who has had work before or experience of driving large vehicles.
Drivers - must be over 25 with a clean licence, have good literacy skills, be good with people and be able to motivate a crew.
