To provide excellent
customer service to visitors on arrival to the Rare Breeds Centre. Tasks will include, but are not limited to,
greeting visitors, operating the till and taking card payments, banking, informing
visitors of procedures in place and special events. You will also be responsible for ensuring the Rare
Breeds entrance is kept clean and tidy and merchandise is fully stocked. There will also be an opportunity to assist
with administrative tasks.
This role is a seasonal when the Rare Breeds Centre is open to the public (April to October).
What skills do I need?
Customer Service experience
Good communication skills
The ability to work under pressure
The ability to work under own initiative and independently
Problem solving skills and able to think on your feet
Ability to work in sympathy with the aims of The Salvation
Army by showing respect, empathy and treating people with dignity.
