Harlow's Museum & Walled gardens has many opportunities to get involved with archiving, researching, helping visitors understand the stories of the collections, making exhibitions, inputting data, keeping the stores in order, helping present and care for the artefacts that are in perpetuity for future generations. Cycles from the John Collins collection, a large Roman collection plus 6,000 photographs newspapers from 1953 plus over 40,000 local historical artefacts and beautiful scenic walled gardens. Your role will be to greet visitors, help install exhibitions and maintain general housekeeping and care for the artefacts in this treasure filled building.   

What skills do I need?

Interest in local history, and any of these; archiving, fact finding, researching, helping the members of public and team working.
