This role is very significant and central to the service we offer to our members who are living with early onset Dementia. The transport service enables our members to have independence, support their spouses to continue to work and an opportunity to develop new friendships on the drive to and from the centre. Our volunteer drivers report positively on the friendships they develop with our members and their families and are greeted daily with smiles and fun journeys. The role offers opportunities to be involved in other activities provided in the centre such as arts, music, sports etc. You will be supported in your role by a friendly multi-disciplinary team.
