Volunteer Drivers

← Back to search results

As part of our Micro Volunteering offer, volunteer drivers are needed for various one-off or irregular activities throughout the year at M&DCVS. Micro volunteering is ideal for those who aren’t able to commit to regular volunteering.

Our volunteer drivers may be asked to collect and deliver a food parcel or small household item, or collect and deliver items of second-hand furniture.

What skills do I need?

You’ll need to be a confident and responsible driver with a friendly nature and good communication skills. Some lifting may be required.

You will need a full, clean driving license with no unspent convictions; access to your own vehicle and the appropriate motor insurance. Any penalty points will be considered on an individual basis.
