Volunteer Youth Worker

Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Assist in setting up and closing down the session.
-Support the lead and work under their guidance.
-Encourage the young people to get involved with positive activities.
-Excellent verbal communication skills.
-Sensitivity and understanding.
-The ability to work well with others.
-Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

What skills do I need?

No experience is necessary, however a calm nature with a hands on approach is necessary, as we encourage you to get to know the young people and set up and join in activities with them.

Training will be provided.
